Palermo owners City Football Group would be keen on bringing in head of Inter youth academy Roberto Samaden when he leaves the Nerazzurri at the end of the current season.

This according to Italian news outlet Numero-Diez, who report that the owners of the current Serie B team are serious about trying to appoint Samaden to a role overseeing their youth academy in the summer as they aim to grow their project.

Samaden is set to leave Inter at the end of the current season when his contract expires at the end of June, ending a 33-year association with the Nerazzurri.

As far as the next destination for the executive, no decision has been made, but a number of clubs within both Serie A and Serie B are reported to be keen.

According to Numero-Diez, Palermo owners City Football Group are ready to push to bring in Samaden, as part of their ambitious rebuild of the Sicilian side.
