Inter striker Romelu Lukaku is set to be in the Nerazzurri’s starting eleven for Friday evening’s Serie A match away to Spezia.
This according to Italian news outlet FCInterNews, who report that the sense in training is that the 29-year-old will definitely be favoured in the starting eleven for the away trip to Liguria later this week.
Lukaku came off the bench against Lecce in Sunday’s Serie A victory, whilst the Belgian had been in the starting eleven in the team’s away loss to Bologna the prior week.
According to FCInterNews, it looks virtually certain that Lukaku will start against Spezia on Friday, and that his fitness is considered to be right where it needs to be in order to make an impact in the starting eleven.
As far as the attacking plans in view of next week’s Champions League round of sixteen second leg match away to Porto, it is not yest certain whether Lukaku will start.
