There is still very little substance behind the rumours linking Tottenham Hotspur coach Antonio Conte with a prospective return to Inter.
This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Corriere della Sera, via FCInterNews, who report that the 53-year-old’s priority remains seeing out the season with Tottenham in the best way possible, and that the Nerazzurri return idea is essentially just newspaper talk.
Conte has been linked with a possible return to Serie A and to Inter in particular at the end of the season, with UK-based news outlet The Times in particular having claimed that the former Juventus, Italy, and Chelsea coach would be keen.
However, as of yet, nothing particularly concrete has emerged in this sense, according to the Corriere della Sera.
Whilst it may be true that Conte feels some degree of homesickness and nostalgia regarding his time at the Nerazzurri, the coach is focused on a positive end to the campaign with Spurs who continue to fight on several fronts, and is thinking about little else.
