Galatasaray and Fenerbahce have joined Inter and Barcelona in targeting Liverpool striker Roberto Firmino on a free transfer during the summer transfer window.

This according to Turkish news outlet Sabah, via FCInterNews, who report that both of the Istanbul-based giants would be keen on the 31-year-old Brazilian international’s signature, but that they will face significant competition from the Nerazzurri and the Blaugranas.

Firmino is set to leave Liverpool on a free transfer at the end of the season, with the former Hoffenheim striker having informed the Reds that he has no intention of extending his contract which expires at the end of June.

A number of clubs have been linked with an interest in the Champions League winner on a free transfer.

Inter have been foremost among these, with the Nerazzurri reportedly keen on signing the 31-year-old in the event that they do not extend the loan of Romelu Lukaku.

Sabah confirm that Inter are keen, as are Barcelona, although Galatasaray and Fenerbahce will also make an attempt to sign the Brazilian.
