Inter would be interested in potentially moving for striker Gianluca Scamacca, who has found himself on the sidelines at Premier League club West Ham United.
This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInterNews, who report that the Nerazzurri could offer a paid loan deal for the 24-year-old in order to reinforce their attack for next season depending on who leaves.
Scamacca made the move to east London last summer from Sassuolo.
Inter had been among the clubs most keen on the Italian international, but they were unable to invest what the Hammers put forward.
Things have not really gone according to plan for Scamacca in the Premier League this season.
The 24-year-old is not a regular starter at the London Stadium, and could already have a desire to return to Serie A according to reports.
The Nerazzurri are aware of Scamacca’s situation at West Ham, and they are thinking of capitalizing this summer.
Edin Dzeko could leave at the end of his contract, in which case Scamacca would be a like-for-like replacement, whilst Joaquin Correa’s future is also very much up in the air.
