Inter striker Edin Dzeko has been officially called up to the Bosnia and Herzgovina national team’s squad for their two EURO 2024 qualifiers scheduled for during the March international break.

This is confirmed in a tweet by the Bosnian FA, which includes the 36-year-old Nerazzurri striker among the 26-player squad for the qualifying matches against Iceland and Slovakia later this month.

The March international break will see players disperse from their club sides to play for the national teams, when applicable, for the first time since the players returned from the World Cup.

For teams in UEFA, this will entail beginning the qualification process for EURO 2024, with the first two qualifying matches for that tournament taking place later this month.

Bosnia and Herzgovina will be aiming to reach the tournament starting with their first two qualifiers against Iceland and Slovakia, and as the team’s captain, top scorer, and record appearance-maker, Dzeko will be among the players they can call upon.
