There is a chance that Inter captain Samir Handanovic will start in goal in the team’s Serie A match away to Spezia this evening.

This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, via FCInterNews, who report that the Slovenian could start in place of Andre Onana who would be given a rest in view of the Nerazzurri’s Champions League match against Porto on Tuesday.

Onana had been rested in Inter’s Serie A match at home to Udinese, the match that was directly before the first leg of their Champions League round of sixteen tie against Porto.

According to Tuttosport, there is still a good chance that the Cameroonian will once again be on the bench to ensure that his fitness is preserved for the second leg of that tie, with Handanovic again taking his place.

Meanwhile, the newspaper report that there is little doubt that it will be Robin Gosens and Denzel Dumfries who start on the flanks this evening.
