Spezia wingback Emil Holm is among the players who Inter are looking at as a possible signing for the right-wingback position.

This according to Italian news outlet Gazzetta.it, who report that the 22-year-old Swedish international is on the Nerazzurri’s radar as they plan for the future in wide areas, although he will not appear against them this evening due to an injury.

If Inter’s directors had hoped to have the chance to scout Holm in this evening’s Serie A match against Spezia, they will be disappointed.

The 22-year-old has not been called up to the Aquilotti’s squad for the match due to an injury.

However, the Gazzetta notes, this evening’s match may be the last time that Holm nominally faces Inter as an opponent, as he is a player who Nerazzurri CEO Beppe Marotta has become keen on.

Whilst at the moment Inter can call on the likes of Denzel Dumfries, Raoul Bellanova, and Matteo Darmian on the right flank, the fact that the former duo’s future at the club is uncertain, and the latter is aging, could mean that a new option in the position is sought.

In this respect, Holm is a player who Inter are keeping a close eye on for the future, according to the Gazzetta.
