Inter and AC Milan are set to rival one another for the signature of young Arsenal-owned striker Folarin Balogun.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInterNews, who report that the Rossoneri aready to join the Nerazzurri in tracking the 21-year-old England youth international, who is currently on loan at Reims and would cost €20-25 million.

Both Inter and Milan are likely to be going in search of an attacking signing during the summer transfer window.

Balogun has been on the Nerazzurri’s radar for some time now, as they are aware that the uncertain situations of all of Romelu Lukaku, Joaquin Correa, and Edin Dzeko beyond the end of this season could mean that a new forward is needed.

Meanwhile, the Rossoneri have joined their city rivals in the chase for the 21-year-old.

Balogun has been on loan at Reims in Ligue 1 from Arsenal this season, where his 17 goals across all competitions so far this season have really caught the eye.

According to the Gazzetta, the asking price for the striker will be no less than €20-25 million, and so it will remain to be seen if either Inter or Milan are prepared to meet this request.
