Inter have renewed their interest in signing Manchester United defender Victor Lindelof for the summer transfer window, and the Red Devils have made their asking price clear.

This according to UK tabloid The Sun, who report that the Premier League giants would expect a fee of €31 million for the 28-year-old Swedish international, who is among the Nerazzurri’s targets to replace Milan Skriniar during the summer transfer window.

Lindelof had already been a player on Inter’s radar during the January transfer window.

The Nerazzurri had been in search of possible signings to reinforce the defense in the event that Skriniar were to depart before the end of the window.

In the end, Skriniar did not leave for Paris Saint-Germain, and United had little interest in letting go of Lindelof given that they want to have a large squad available for the packed fixture list during the run-in of the season.

However, given that Skriniar is certainly set to leave for PSG on a free transfer at the end of the season, Inter will be searching for a replacement during the summer.

According to The Sun, Lindelof remains very much a target for the Nerazzurri in this sense.

According to the UK tabloid, United would be willing to let the 28-year-old former Benfica defender leave during the summer, but only for a fee of €31 million.
