Inter defender Milan Skriniar will not be in the Nerazzurri’s starting eleven for this evening’s Champions League round of sixteen second leg against Porto.

This according to Italian news outlet Gazzetta.it, who report that the 28-year-old will start the match on the bench, whilst it will be Matteo Darmian who starts on the right of the back three, and also that Edin Dzeko will start rather than Romelu Lukaku.

Skriniar is fit for this evening’s match, and has been called up to the squad meaning that the former Sampdoria defender will certainly be available from the bench.

However, Nerazzurri coach Simone Inzaghi has made his final decision based on what he’s seen in training, and the coach will not risk the Slovakian from the first minute.

Meanwhile, the Gazzetta reports, the coach has also made his final decision on who will start in attack.

Dzeko is set to be the player leading the line alongside Lautaro Martinez from the first minute, with the Bosnian former Roma and Manchester City man set to be selected ahead of Lukaku.
