Porto striker Evanilson could start in this evening’s Champions League round of sixteen second leg against Inter.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInterNews, who report that the 23-year-old Brazilian could be fit to start the clash alongside Mehdi Taremi, whilst the alternative would be 22-year-old Englishman Danny Namaso.

Porto coach Sergio Conceicao will have some selection decisions to make all over the pitch, but attack and the right flank will be the two main areas for him to consider according to the Gazzetta.

In attack, it is virtually a foregone conclusion that Taremi will start, but the fitness of striker Evanilson will likely be key in determining whether he is able to start alongside the Iranian.

Meanwhile, on the right flank, fullback Pepe is likely to start, but the question of who starts in front of him is more of a doubt.

Canadian international midfielder Stephen Eustquio could start as a “false right-winger” if Conceicao looks to overload the central areas, and conversely, attacking midfielder Andre Franco could also be deployed in the position.
