Inter head coach Simone Inzaghi has shown once again that he is the right man to be in the dugout when the team have not other option besides to get a result.

This is the view in today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Corriere della Sera, via FCInterNews, who argue that the 46-year-old presented a defensive masterclass when it was needed most, something that he has developed a real knack for.

One criticism of Inzaghi’s Inter, particularly this season, has been that when the pressure has been off, the team have seemed to lack a bit of focus, leading to dropped points in “easy” match.

However, as matches like October’s win against Barcelona and the win over Napoli at the start of January have shown, the coach seems to thrive when the pressure is turned up to its highest.

This was certainly the case at the Estadio do Dragao, as the Nerazzurri put in an immaculately organized display in an intense away ground against a strong opponent who threw everytuing at them.

Once again, the Corriere della Sera contends, Inzaghi is the man for these kinds of occasions.
