Juventus forward Federico Chiesa and defender Leonardo Bonucci are both targeting a return to the Bianconeri’s squad from injury for Sunday’s massive Serie A match against Inter at the San Siro.

This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, via FCInterNews, who report that the duo are likely to miss out on the Bianconeri’s Europa League round of sixteen second leg match against Freiburg, but are hoping to make their returns against the Nerazzurri.

Both Chiesa and Bonucci have been dealing with some minor injuries, which are likely to see them miss out on this evening’s match.

In neither case is the problem serious enough to rule them out for more than a few days, but with Sunday’s match against Inter looming just over the horizon, it is not yet certain whether they will be fit, although that is the target for both.

Meanwhile, Angel Di Maria’s fitness for this evening’s match against Freiburg is touch-and-go.
