Porto coach Sergio Conceicao appeared to snub his Inter opposite number Simone Inzaghi after the Champions League round of sixteen second round clash between the two sides on Tuesday evening.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Il Giornale, via FCInter1908, who note that the Portuguese coach did not shake Inzaghi’s hand after the match, even despite the fact that the two are on friendly terms and former teammates.

During the buildup to Tuesday’s match, Inzaghi and Conceicao both spoke in very complementary terms of one another.

The two coaches had played together at Lazio during their playing days, and spoke admiringly of one another’s work as coaches.

However, after a match that reached a heated climax as Porto pushed for a goal but were unable to break the deadlock in a goalless draw that saw the Nerazzurri progress, this mattered little to Conceicao.

The Portuguese coach simply walked down the tunnel, with little interest in Inzaghi’s gesture to try and shake hands.
