Young midfielder Matias Mancuso has committed his future to Inter by signing his first professional contract with the Nerazzurri.

This according to Italian news outlet FCInter1908, who report that the Italian-Uruguayan has signed a professional deal taking him until the end of June 2025 not long after turning sixteen earlier this month.

Inter have been aiming to avoid the kind of situation that saw Wilfried Gnonto leave from their academy to join FC Zurich on a professional deal, and then Alessandro Ciardi leave to sign a professional contract with Red Bull Salzburg.

Accordingly, the Nerazzurri have wanted to secure Mancuso’s future imminently.

To this end, the club have been pushing to get a contract agreed with the Italian-Uruguayan, although had been unable to put pen paper prior to his sixteenth birthday.

However, now that Mancuso haas turned sixteen, he is eligible to sign a professional contract, and has done so with Inter.
