Inter midfielder Marcelo Brozovic could be left out of his team’s starting eleven for this weekend’s Serie A match against Juventus.

This according to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, via FCInterNews, who report that the 30-year-old could be benched for the match against the Bianconeri, whilst Romelu Lukaku will start in attack and Milan Skriniar’s status will depend on his fitness.

Given that Brozovic did not start for Inter in this week’s Champions League clash with Porto, it has been reported that there is a good chance that the Croat would come in for Henrikh Mkhitaryan in Sunday’s match against Juventus.

However, according to Sky, there is no guarantee of this, as the Armenian could once again start against the Bianconeri.

Meanwhile, the broadcaster reports that it will be Lukaku rather than Edin Dzeko who starts alongside Lautaro Martinez in attack.

In defense, much will depend on the fitness of Skriniar.

If the 28-year-old is fit for Sunday’s match, then he will be in the starting eleven, but if he is not deemed to be fit to start then Matteo Darmian will start on the right side of the back three.
