Red Bull Salzburg defender Oumar Solet is one of Inter’s top names to reinforce the defense during the summer transfer window.

This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, via FCInterNews, who report that 23-year-old Frenchman is one of the top names on the Nerazzurri’s shortlist of possible candidates to replace Milan Skriniar next season.

Skriniar’s looming departure has meant that Inter will be in search of a high-quality defensive option to reinforce the backline in the summer transfer window.

Moreover, the possibile departure of Stefan de Vrij on a free transfer, and the uncertainty surrounding Francesco Acerbi’s situation given that the Nerazzurri will have to agree a deal with Lazio when his loan deal expires, heightens the need to make defensive signings.

According to Tuttosport, 23-year-old Red Bull Salzburg defender Solet has emerged as one of the players who Inter are following most keenly.

The club are convinced that the Frenchman would be an ideal signing for the right side of the defense.
