Inter midfielder Marcelo Brozovic is set to return to Inter’s starting eleven for this evening’s Serie A match against Juventus.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInterNews, who report that the 30-year-old will start the Derby d’Italia clash with the Bianconeri with one of Nicolo Barella or Henrikh Mkhitaryan to be rested.

Brozovic started for Inter in last shock Friday’s Serie A defeat away to Spezia, seeing out the full ninety minutes plus stoppage time, but was not in the starting eleven against Porto in the Champions League.

The Croat is set to start this evening against Juventus, however, as Inter coach Simone Inzaghi is thinking about some midfield rotation.

According to the Corriere della Sera, Hakan Calhanoglu will start, though the Turk would take up a more advanced position with Brozovic playing the deepest role in the Nerazzurri’s midfield trio.

Rather, it will be one of Barella or Mkhitaryan who will be given a rest from the start in the last match of a gruelling cycle heading into the international break.
