Inter are likely to have to send forward Joaquin Correa on loan during the summer transfer window, as they are unlikely to be able to sell him on a permanent basis for a satisfactory fee.

This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, via FCInterNews, who report that the Nerazzurri are well aware that fetching a €15 million fee for the injury-prone Argentine will be all but impossible, and are ready to send him on loan instead.

Inter are ready to cut their losses with Correa given that the 28-year-old has never found form or fitness since his arrival from Lazio in the summer of 2021.

If the Nerazzurri were to sell the former Biancocelesti and Sevilla man this summer, however, they would seek a fee of around €15 million, to avoid taking a capital gains loss on the €33 million fee that they paid for him.

According to Tuttosport, Inter are not expecting to receive offers of this size, and so their strategy is to look for a loan destination in the hopes that he can find form and fitness and his market value will rise to a point where they can make a permanent sale.
