Inter Milan President Steven Zhang Re-Elected As A Non-Independent Director Of Suning In Board Meeting, Italian Media Report

Inter President Steven Zhang has been re-elected in his position as a non-independent director of Suning in the most recent meeting of the Chinese retail company’s board of directors.

This according to Italian news outlet FCInterNews, who report that Suning’s board met for the 35th time today, and that the Nerazzurri President’s position on the board was confirmed in a unanimous vote of nine to none.

In addition to his role as Inter President, which he has held since October 2018, having been instrumental in the takeover of the Nerazzurri by Suning Holding Group in 2016, Zhang has also maintained his position in the parent company.

The board of Suning met for the 35th time today, and ass part of their agenda they voted on whether or not to re-elect the board of directors.

Ren Jun, Hu Xiao, Jia Honggang, Zhang Kangyang (Inter President Steven), Guan Chenghua, and Lu Jun were all re-elected to new three-year terms.
