It is uncertain when Inter defender Milan Skriniar is dealing with lumbago in his lower back, and this has been the reason for his injury absence.

This according to Sky Sport Italia transfer market expert Gianluca Di Marzio via Pazzi di Fanta, who reports that the 28-year-old underwent examinations with the national team staff which confirmed the presence of the lower back pain.

Skriniar has missed each of Inter’s past four Serie A matches, whilst he was restricted to a second half substitute appearance against Porto in the Champions League last week.

Additionally, the Slovakian will not play any part in his national team’s two EURO 2024 qualifying matches during the break due to his injury.

Today, Skriniar did not do any training, as he focused on recovery therapies.

Meanwhile, Di Marzio reports, the likes of Alessandro Bastoni, Federico Dimarco, and Robin Gosens could all be ready to return after the international break.
