Inter are targeting Udinese midfielder Roberto Pereyra as the replacement for Roberto Gagliardini during the summer transfer window.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Il Giorno, via FCInter1908, who report that the Nerazzurri are ready to move for the 32-year-old on a free transfer when Gagliardini leaves the club at the end of his own contract.

Given that Gagliardini is set to leave Inter on a free transfer, the Nerazzurri will be aiming to replace the former Atalanta midfielder like-for-like with a free or low-cost signing.

According to Il Giorno, it is former Juventus and Watford midfielder Pereyra who the Nerazzurri are looking at.

The Argentine has yet to make a decision on whether or not to extend his contract with the Friulani, and according to Il Giorno, the Nerazzurri would be ready to use their positive replacement with his agent Federico Pastorello to get a deal done for him.
