Lazio are keen on signing Inter midfielder Roberto Gagliardini on a free transfer this summer.

This according to Italian news outlet Gazzetta.it, who report that the 28-year-old is a target for the Biancocelesti during the summer transfer window, with his contract with the Nerazzurri set to run out at the end of June.

There is no chance of Gagliardini signing an extension to his deal with Inter, although it has not yet been made clear where his next club will be.

According to the Gazzetta, the former Atalanta midfielder is on the radar of Lazio as the capital club aim to add Serie A experience to their squad for next season.

Last summer, Maurizio Sarriā€™s side brought in defender Alessio Romagnoli from AC Milan as well as midfielder Matias Vecino from the Nerazzurri, both experienced players in the Italian top flight signed on free transfer.

According to the Gazzetta, the Biancocelesti are prepared to make Gagliardini a similar kind of signing in the upcoming summer window.
