West Ham United striker Gianluca Scamacca is still a major target for Inter in attack for the upcoming summer transfer window.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInterNews, who report that the 24-year-old remains very much on the Nerazzurri’s radar despite their having missed out on his signature last summer.

Inter’s admiration of Scamacca when he was a Sassuolo player was never any secret, and there had been talks between the Nerazzurri and the Neroverdi prior to last summer window.

However, in the end Inter went for Romelu Lukaku instead, whilst Scamacca made the big money move to the Premier League to join West Ham United.

However, things have not quite gone according to plan for the Italian international at the London Stadium, and a move away cannot be ruled out for this summer.

Accordingly, the Gazzetta reports, Inter are keeping a close eye on the situation and could move for Scamacca to replace any forwards who leave this summer.
