Tottenham Hotspur coach Antonio Conte is still very much an option being considered by Inter to replace Simone Inzaghi on the bench.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Corriere della Sera, via FCInterNews, who report that there are a number of factors which could potentially cause the 53-year-old to return to the Nerazzurri.

Inzaghi is currently Inter coach and is likely to remain such until the end of the season.

The Nerazzurri’s view of the 46-year-old former Lazio boss has dimmed quite a bit on the basis of this season’s results, however, and they are seriously considering replacing him in the summer according to the Corriere.

Meanwhile, Conte is all but certain to either leave Spurs or be sacked at the end of the season.

According to the Corriere della Sera, the 53-year-old wants a return to Serie A, and Inter and Roma would be the two most likely landing spots in this respect, although in both cases a lot will depend on whether or not they qualify for the Champions League.
