All of Inter wingbacks Federico Dimarco and Robin Gosens and defender Alessandro Bastoni worked individually in today’s training session.

This according to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, via FCInterNews, who report that the trio are all targeting a return to full training with the rest of the squad on Friday so that they can be ready for Saturday’s Serie A match against Fiorentina.

There is optimism about the fitness of all three of Dimarco, Gosens, and Bastoni, but in order to play a part in Saturday’s match against La Viola, it will be necessary for them to be back in full training on Friday.

Meanwhile, the Gazzetta report that the three Inter players who were a part of the Italian national team squad during the break, namely Nicolo Barella, Matteo Darmian, and Francesco Acerbi, all worked with the rest of the squad to get back to full fitness.

For Bosnian striker Edin Dzeko, however, the 37-year-old trained on his own as he aims to get back up to speed in time for the return to action against Fiorentina over the weekend.

The likes of Denzel Dumfries and Kristjan Asllani will return to training tomorrow.
