All of Inter and Juventus could be handed a boost in attempts to sign Antonio Conte by the fact that the Growth Decree would be applicable to the 53-year-old’s wages.

This is highlighted in today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, via FCInterNews, who note how the tax benefits of the Growth Decree are likely to be a factor if Conte returns to Serie A after leaving Tottenham Hotspur.

Conte’s exit from Spurs was made official yesterday, and there is great speculation over where the former Inter, Juventus, Chelsea, and Italy’s next destination.

Two of the most probable next moves mooted for the 53-year-old are returns to clubs where he has already been in charge and has enjoyed success, namely the Nerazzurri and the Bianconeri.

A stumbling block for either of the pair appointing Conte would be the fact that the coach’s wage demands are high, but as Tuttosport notes, the Growth Decree would halve the taxes paid on them by an Italian club, potentially bringing them within reach for either Inter or Juventus.
