Romelu Lukaku is the favourite to start in attack alongside Lautaro Martinez in Inter’s Serie A match against Fiorentina this weekend.
This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, via FCInterNews, who report that the Belgian is the likeliest candidate to lead the line when the Nerazzurri make their return from the international break on Saturday.
Inter coach Simone Inzaghi will be starting to think about who he wants to start in the team’s return to Serie A action against La Viola at the San Siro.
Martinez is a very probable inclusion in the starting eleven, ass the Argentine has proven to be all but indispensable in attack for Inzaghi and Inter.
As far as which of the other attackers will start alongside the 25-year-old at the tip of Inter’s 3-5-2 formation, it is less clear who it will be, but according to the Corriere Lukaku is the likeliest.
