Inter and Juventus both have young Hellas Verona defender Diego Coppola on their radar as a potential prospect for the future.

This according to Italian news outlet FCInterNews, who report that whilst neither of the Nerazzurri nor the Bianconeri consider the 19-year-old a major target yet, they are both following his progress closely.

Coppola has looked to be one of the outstanding young talents from Verona’s academy recently, with the defender showing the physical and technical qualities needed to play at the senior level and in the Gialloblu’s back three system.

Standing 6’4″, the 19-year-old is already physically adept at the senior level, although there is still a bedding in period needed before his level becomes clear.

According to FCIN, both of Inter and Juventus have been watching Coppola for a little while, and their interest is growing as he features more for Verona’s first team.

Coppola has made a total of thirteen Serie A appearances for the relegation-battlers over the past two seasons, whilst he received his first call-up to the Italian Under-20 national team last year.
