Inter are set to meet with current SPAL Academy Director Andrea Catellani in the next couple of days where they will attempt to iron out the details of his possible appointment to replace Roberto Samaden in the summer.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, via FCInterNews, who report that the 34-year-old is the leading candidate to take the place of Samaden as the head of the Nerazzurri’s youth academy but that there are more details to be worked out.

One of the main things that will have to be discussed with Catellani will be the matter of how to terminate his existing contract with SPAL in the event that he agrees to take over at Inter.

Apart from this, the Corriere reports, the 34-year-old will discuss with Inter what his intentions and vision are, and what he would require to grow into the role, before the club make their final decision.
