Inter coach Simone Inzaghi knows full well that the next two months are do-or-die for his future at the Nerazzurri.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, via FCInterNews, who suggest that the 46-year-old will be feeling the pressure of playing to preserve his job as Inter coach in the run-in of the season.

Whilst Inter’s form over the season so far has not been bad enough to cause the club to clearly decide to change coaches, it has also not exactly provided a signal that he will clearly stay on past the summer.

Moreover, the Corriere suggests, the fact that Antonio Conte will be available in the summer, whilst Roberto De Zerbi can be brought in if his release clause at Brighton and Hove Albion is triggered, will be hanging in Inzaghi’s mind.

The former Lazio coach knows that Inter have possible options lined up to replace him, with the likes of Jose Mourinho, Diego Simeone, and Thiago Motta also in the background.

Inzaghi is not yet out the door, far from it, with the chance to send a message with results in three competitions during the run-in.

However, if that decisive statement does not come and the team slumps to a poor finish to the campaign, the Corriere argues, the 46-year-old will likely be gone.
