Manchester United will be watching Inter goalkeeper Andre Onana during the Nerazzurri’s upcoming Champions League quarterfinal tie against Benfica.

This according to Italian news outlet FCInterNews, who report that the Red Devils will be scouting the 26-year-old who is one of their main targets to replace David De Gea in the summer, whilst they will also be keeping an eye on Benfica strikere Goncalo Ramos.

Onana’s form for Inter this season has caused the Cameroonian to come onto the radars of a number of top clubs in Europe, with the Gazzetta dello Sport reporting today that the Nerazzurri have set a €40 million price tag amid Premier League interest in the player.

According to FCIN, there is indeed interest from United in signing the 26-year-old during the summer transfer window.

There are doubts about the future of current Red Devils Number One De Gea, and the Premier League giants are considering a number of options as possible replacements for the Spaniard.

One if Everton and England keeper Jordan Pickford, whilst they are also looking in the direction of Inter’s city rivals AC Milan at Frenchman Mike Maignan.

However, there is also Onana in the English side’s sights.

FCIN report that, when Inter face off against Benfica later this month, United scouts will be observing the 26-year-old.

If Man United were to sign Onana, they would be reuniting him with former Ajax coach Erik Ten Hag, who took over at Old Trafford last summer.

Meanwhile, FCIN report that Benfica striker Ramos will be the other main player being observed by United scouts during the tie against Inter.

The Red Devils are looking for a signing at centre-forward, and 21-year-old Portuguese international Ramos is one of the top names on their list, the outlet reports.

Ramos really came to the attention of many clubs in Europe with his performances for Portugal at the World Cup, whilst he has also been a key player in the Champions League for them thus far.
