Inter captain Samir Handanovic marked 450 appearances in a Nerazzurri shirt with his start against Juventus in the Coppa Italia semifinal first leg.

Whilst the Slovenian is no longer the regular starter in goal after Andre Onana’s emergence this season, he continued to show his worth and his leadership against the Bianconeri, more than a decade on from his move from Udinese.

As football statistics account highlighted in a tweet, the Slovenian has made more appearances for Inter than any other goalkeeper apart from Walter Zenga.

They tweeted, “450 – Samir Handanovic is only the second goalkeeper to reach 450 matches in Inter’s history, after Walter Zenga (473). Milestone.
