All of midfielder Kristjan Asllani, wingback Raoul Bellanova, and defender Stefan de Vrij would be candidates to start for Inter in tomorrow evening’s Serie A match against Salernitana.

This according to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, via FCInterNews, who report that all three were part of the tactical preparations for tomorrow evening’s match as Nerazzurri coach Simone Inzaghi thinks about some squad rotation.

Inter are still only two months into a packed month of April, and so there will be a lot of decisions for Inzaghi to make regarding squad rotation to ensure that the players are kept as fresh as possible through this gruelling period of the season.

According to Sky, all of Asllani, Bellanova, and de Vrij are in contention to start against Salernitana as the Nerazzurri travel to the Stadio Arechi.

Midfielder Asllani is not the favourite to start, as the broadcaster reports that the trio of Nicolo Barella, Henrikh Mkhitaryan, and Marcelo Brozovic is still the probable one in the starting eleven.

However, the Albanian is still in the coach’s thinking, and the sense is that sooner or later he will be given a start, and tomorrow could hardly be ruled out.

The same is certainly true of Bellanova, who had impressed against Fiorentina last weekend where his appearance from the bench in the second half was one of the lone bright spots for the Nerazzurri.

The 22-year-old was involved in the tactical preparations for tomorrow evening’s match against the Granata, and the sense is that he would be a serious candidate to be in the starting eleven.

Lastly, de Vrij would also be a possible starter in defense.

Against Juventus, Danilo D’Ambrosio lined up alongside Francesco Acerbi and Alessandro Bastoni, but the 34-year-old will not be available against Salernitana due to suspension and so de Vrij could be the obvious rotation option.
