Inter’s draw away to Salernitana was already a frustrating result for the Nerazzurri in and of itself, but it was made all the more so by the context in which it arrive.
The Nerazzurri have now failed to win six matches in a row, with three defeats and a draw in Serie A coupled with two draws in the Champions League and the Coppa Italia respectively.
Football statistics account Opta highlighted in a tweet that this is the worst such run for Inter since 2018.
They tweeted that “Considering all competitions, Inter failed to win in their last 6 games, they worst streak since February 2018 (10 in that case). Punished.”
