Inter goalkeeper Andre Onana feels that the Nerazzurri are not in any way prioritizing the Champions League over any other competitions towards the end of this season.

Speaking to Brazilian broadcaster TNT Sports Brasil, via FCInterNews, the Cameroonian stressed that the Nerazzurri will fight until the end in all three of the competitions that they are still in.

After yesterday evening’s 2-0 win against Benfica in the quarterfinal first leg, the sense has only been strengthened that the Champions League is where Inter are showing their best.

Whilst the Nerazzurri have had plenty of very good performances and results in the league, they have hardly been able to produce them on a consistent basis.

Meanwhile, in the Coppa Italia there is still every chance that Inter could make it to and even win the final, but at the moment that is still some way away, and there haven’t been quite the same kinds of heroics as have been on show in Europe.

Accordingly, there could perhaps be a temptation for Inter to really put their focus on the Champions League, and “put their eggs into that basket.”

However, for his part Onana does not feel that this is what Inter are doing in the least.

“The Champions League is a very important competition, but as an Inter player, when you wear these colours you always have to honour them,” Onana said.

“We are playing in three competitions, I think we can try to get as far as possible in all of them,” he said in response to the suggestions that Europe could be prioritized.”

“We’ll give our lives to be try and win these three competitions, and then we’ll either do so or not.”

“If we fail to, then we can always try to next season,” the Cameroonian added of the Nerazzurri’s ambitions.
