Inter coach Simone Inzaghi is set to make five changes to the starting eleven that faced Benfica on Tuesday in this evening’s Serie A match against Monza.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, via FCInterNews, who report that the likes of Stefan de Vrij and Joaquin Correa will be among the players to come into the Nerazzurri’s starting eleven for this evening’s match at the San Siro.

Inter coach Inzaghi is mindful of the need to make rotations to his squad amid the mounting pressure of a packed fixture list for the team.

The Nerazzurri will accordingly line up with changes all over the pitch in this evening’s match against Monza.

In defense, Alessandro Bastoni is set to remain on the left side of the back three, but lining up alongside him will be de Vrij and Danilo D’Ambrosio in place of Francesco Acerbi and Matteo Darmian.

The Corriere predicts that the midfield trio will be unchanged compared to the match against Benfica in midweek, but Robin Gosens will come in for Federico Dimarco at left-wingback.

Denzel Dumfries, meanwhile, is set to keep his place on the right flank.

In attack, the Corriere anticipates that there will be a complete overhaul compared to Tuesday’s Champions League quarterfinal first leg in Lisbon.

Both of Edin Dzeko and Lautaro Martinez are set to drop to the bench this evening, the newspaper predicts, and in their place Romelu Lukaku and Joaquin Correa will be given a chance to start after making an impact from the bench at the Estadio da Luz.

In goal, Andre Onana is predicted to keep his place.

The Corriere’s complete predicted Inter starting eleven for this evening’s Serie A match is as follows:

Inter (3-5-2): Onana; D’Ambrosio, De Vrij, Bastoni; Dumfries, Barella, Brozovic, Mkhitaryan, Gosens; Lukaku, Correa.
