Inter suffered a massive blow in the form of yet another Serie A loss, this time to Monza at the San Siro.

The Nerazzurri huffed and puffed but couldn’t find a goal, meaning that the concession of a solitary goal was enough to condemn them to a defeat, just as was the case against Juventus and Fiorentina in their previous two home matches in the league.

As football statistics account Opta highlighted in a tweet, this meant that the Nerazzurri set a very unwelcome statistical record.

They tweeted, “#Inter have lost three consecutive home games without scoring in each match for the first time ever in #SerieA. Stucked.”
