Inter defender Alessandro Bastoni was awarded UEFA’s man of the match award for his performance in last Wednesday’s Champions League quarterfinal first leg against Benfica, and it’s not hard to see why.
The 23-year-old was decisive at both ends of the pitch, assisting Nicolo Barella’s opener and making a vital clearance away from Benfica striker Goncalo Ramos, and everywhere in between.
The club shared a “touch by touch” compilation of the 23-year-old’s entire performance in the match in a post on their official Twitter account.
