Inter midfielder Kristjan Asllani made his return to the Stadio Carlo Castellani with the Nerazzurri in Sunday afternoon’s Serie A match between his current and former team.
It was the Albanian’s current side Inter who came out on top, winning the match 3-0 to get back to winning ways in the league after a woeful run of results over the past few weeks.
Asllani posted a message on his Instagram account after the match, writing that “It’s always great to return to this stadium where I grew up and see these fans again.”
