Inter forwards Joaquin Correa and Romelu Lukaku could both start in attack for the Nerazzurri in tomorrow afternoon’s Serie A match against Lazio.

This according to Italian broadcaster SportMediaset, via FCInterNews, who report that it is unlikely that the lineup will be rotated too much compared to the team that beat Juventus on Wednesday, but that both attacking spots could be changed.

Correa and Lukaku had each come off the bench during the second half against Juventus in the Coppa Italia semifinal second leg played in midweek, but it was Lautaro Martinez and Edin Dzeko who started the clash.

This has become something of a familiar pattern over the past few weeks, with Correa and Lukaku trusted in the league as they were against Empoli last Sunday, and then Martinez and Dzeko coming in for knockout matches.

According to Mediaset, there looks to be a very good chance of this pattern being repeated, with both of Correa and Lukaku reportedly having a good chance of starting at the San Siro tomorrow afternoon.

In the case of Lukaku it looks all but certain, whilst Correa is also pushing for a starting spot, and Mediaset report that it is likelier that the 28-year-old will start against his old club than that fellow Argentine Martinez will be the one to start alongside Lukaku.

Meanwhile, Mediaset report that another player with a Lazio connection, Biancocelesti-owned defender Francesco Acerbi, will start, keeping his place at the centre of the Nerazzurri’s back three.

In midfield, the broadcaster anticipates that Marcelo Brozovic will replace Hakan Calhanoglu at the base of Inter’s trio, but that Nicolo Barella and Henrikh Mkhitaryan will both keep their places in the starting lineup from the match against Juventus.

In goal, it will be Andre Onana who keeps his now first-choice starting role.
