Former Torino and Albania Manager Gianni De Biasi believes Simone Inzaghi’s Inter Milan have been disappointing in Serie A this season given their high level of technical quality in the squad
The veteran coach and former Inter player made this arguement while appearing on Radio24’s program ‘Tutti Convocati’, as reported by FcInterNews.it.
De Biasi spoke about the Nerazzurri’s season and criticized Simone Inzaghi’s side by comparing their results to their technical potential.
In his opinion, the Nerazzurri are the strongest side in Serie A in terms of technique, and their technical advantage over other Serie A teams should have produced a better outcome and that Inter has left him disappointed.
The former Udinese and Torino coach also emphasized that Serie A leaders Napoli have done a ‘wonderful’ job this season, whereas he has seen a balance among other teams in the league.
“That Nerazzurri team is the strongest team in the league from a technical standpoint, which is why, in my opinion, they have disappointed.
“Napoli, on the other hand, has done something wonderful, and there has been a lot of balance elsewhere.
“In certain cities, coaches need to be given space and time, and it’s too easy to shoot them down too soon,” De Biasi concluded.
