Former Inter striker Antonio Cassano argues that the Nerazzurri are on level terms with the Bianconeri, but points out that there must be a reason why Inter has lost so many games.
This according to Cassano’s Instagram account, as reported by FCInterNews.it, where the former player known as the Gioello di Bari Vecchia holds discussions with his former colleagues and friends.
The former Bari and Roma player believes that Hellas Verona played well up until the 20th minute, but that Inter dominated the play following the first Nerazzurri goal.
Cassano, who also played for Real Madrid during his career, pointed out that Hellas Verona were tired after battling to get back into the survival race.
“Verona played well, but it was a massacre after the first Inter goal. I am afraid that they are tired after playing for survival.
“Inter are still the strongest team in the league with Juventus, but there has to be a reason that they have lost eleven games in this season,” concluded Cassano.
The former Milan player played one season with the Nerazzurri, where he made twenty-eight appearances and scored seven goals during the 2012-2013 season.
The ex-Sampdoria player has recently made headlines by starting a verbal spat with former Inter, Real Madrid and Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho.
