Inter Milan President Steven Zhang will attend the Nerazzurri’s Serie A match against Roma at the Stadio Olimpico today, in a show of support to the players.

This is according to today’s print edition of Milan-based daily newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, as reported via Milan based Inter Milan news-site FcInterNews.

As per the report, Zhang has decided to travel to Rome separately to the squad but will remain close to them prior to kick-off, as he did two weeks ago during Inter’s 3-0 away to Empoli.

Zhang has recognised the importance of the match to Inter’s season, with the fixture in the capital potentially being pivotal in the battle to secure a top four finish in Serie A, and so he is keen to offer his assistance to the squad.

Whilst Simone Inzaghi and the team flew to Rome yesterday, Zhang made his own way but will spend the early afternoon in the city before joining up with the squad.

Inter currently sit two points clear of Roma in the table, with a victory going some way towards bolstering their claims for Champions League qualification through the league.

The match kick-off at 18.00 CET in Rome’s Stadio Olimpico.
