Inter coach Simone Inzaghi is reluctant to rotate heavily when his side face Roma in Serie A today, despite a crunch Champions League semi-final first leg tie against AC Milan on Wednesday.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based daily newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, as reported via Milan based Inter Milan news-site FcInterNews.

According to the report the former Lazio coach is ready to start at least eight players in both games over the coming few days, with both matches deemed pivotal to Inter’s ambitions this season.

Indeed, goalkeeper Andre Onana and defensive trio Alessandro Bastoni, Francesco Acerbi, and Matteo Darmian will take on the Giallorossi before also lining up in the Champions League in midweek, particularly with Milan Skriniar unavailable through injury.

Inzaghi will turn to Denzel Dumfries and Federico Dimarco as his wingbacks at the Stadio Olimpico, whilst the pair will be tasked with facing Milan just five days later as Inter look to secure a first leg advantage.

Finally, midfielder Nicolo Barella is the other certainty for both matches, and he will be joined by either Marcelo Brozovic or Hakan Calhanoglu in the clashes against AC Milan as well as Roma.

There remains a strong possibility of changes in attack however, with Joaquin Correa and Romelu Lukaku expected to face Roma, before Inzaghi opts for Lautaro Martinez and Edin Dzeko against Milan.
