Inter Milan’s Belgian striker Romelu Lukaku commented on the Nerazzurri’s return to form following their 2-0 win in the Serie A over Jose Mourinho’s Roma at the Stadio Olimpico today.

Inter player Romelu Lukaku continue his recent good form in the Nerazzurri’s 2-0 win against Roma, where he scored the second goal after an assist from teammate Lautaro Martinez.

Lukaku spoke to Italian broadcaster DAZN immediately following Inter’s 2-0 win versus the Giallorossi, as reported by FCInterNews.

“I am very happy with the squad’s performance, as we are reaching our best form. We know our situation and we have to make most of it to make our opponents suffer.

“Our maturity showed in this today’s game and it is how we brought the result home. Now we have recover and prepare for the game against Milan.

“A message for Inzaghi? Inter is more important, and I don’t have to pay attention to anything else,” concluded the Belgian striker.

The Belgian striker has contributed to Inter Milan’s goal scoring production in the last three games that he has played in.

Lukaku scored two goals away to Empoli on April 23rd; provided two assists against Lazio on April 30th; and scored to seal the Nerazzurri’s win against Roma today.

Lukaku’s return to form will provide a selection headache for Inter manager Simone Inzaghi, as he picks his starting lineup for the Nerazzurri’s UEFA Champions League Semi Final against local rivals AC Milan, this Wednesday at the Stadio San Siro, with kick-off scheduled for 21.00 CET.
