Inter Milan President Steven Zhang’s change in approach has been noted in Italian media, after he was in attendance in the Nerazzurri’s 2-0 win over Roma yesterday.

This is according to today’s print edition of Milan-based daily newspaper La Gazzetta dello Sport, as reported via Milan based Inter Milan news-site FcInterNews.

As per the report, Zhang has shown greater involvement in supporting the team in a more personal manner, as he spent time with the squad prior to the match and was in the stands for the victory.

Zhang did not travel to the Italian capital with the team but appeared unannounced, after he had previously offered Simone Inzaghi’s side moral support ahead of a 3-0 win over Empoli last month.

Meanwhile, the Suning representative posted a rousing message on Instagram after the win against Roma, and Zhang has shown that he is enjoying his tenure at the helm more than last season.

Both Zhang and Inter are now focusing on securing passage to the Champions League final in Istanbul, as they prepare to face AC Milan in the first leg of their semi-final on Wednesday.
