Inter are set to send a scout to Empoli’s Serie A match against Salernitana tomorrow, as they keep tabs on potential transfer targets for the summer.

As reported by Milan based Inter Milan news-site FCInterNews, the Nerazzurri are keen to take a closer look at players they have been monitoring for some time, as plans are put in place for the transfer window opening at the end of June.

A player of particular interest is Empoli striker Martin Satriano, with the Uruguayan on loan from Inter, and the club are still weighing up whether he has developed sufficiently to merit a place in the first team squad next season.

Also of interest to Inter is the home side’s goalkeeper, Guglielmo Vicario, with Simone Inzaghi’s side potentially requiring a new shot-stopper amidst interest in current first choice option Andre Onana, with the Cameroon international likely to leave if Inter receive a significant offer.

Finally, Inter will monitor Salernitana’s Lorenzo Pirola, with the defender joining Satriano in leaving the Nerazzurri on loan for the campaign.

The centre-back has impressed and Salernitana are expected to trigger a €5 million buyout option in his deal, though Inter can purchase him back for €8m.
