Siena Sporting Director Massimo Tarantino was in attendance for Inter Milan’s Primavera U-19 match against Empoli this afternoon, amidst suggestions he is being lined up for a job with the Nerazzurri.

According to Italian television broadcaster SportItalia, and as reported via Milan based Inter Milan news-site FCInterNews, Tarantino was in the stands at the Konami Youth Training Centre to observe Christian Chivu’s side take on Empoli, as they secured a 2-0 win.

Tarantino has been reported to have been lined up as a replacement for Roberto Samaden as the head of Inter’s youth system, and his presence at the match has only added to the speculation that he will take up a position with the Biscione.

Elsewhere, Inter’s first team midfielder Kristjan Asllani was also in attendance, with the Albania international a product of Empoli’s youth academy and keen to meet up with former teammates and staff.

Similarly, Nerazzurri wingback Raoul Bellanova joined up with Asllani to watch the match, as Chivu’s side moved three points clear of their opponents and into eighth place in the table.
